Leadership
About the mission president
In 1995, seeking freedom and new opportunities, Vasiliy and Olga Skorykh immigrated to the USA as refugees from the USSR. They founded Answer in Jesus Ministries, then returned to Russia as missionaries. In the Urals they planted six churches that became beacons of faith for the region.
Today Vasiliy and Olga live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with their six children and four grandchildren. Vasiliy serves as President of Answer in Jesus Ministries and pastor of Answer in Jesus Church. Preaching and conducting crusades in 14 countries, he has ministered to more than 200,000 people.

Over the years the ministry has grown through events and projects in Russia, Mexico, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Pakistan, and the USA — touching hundreds of thousands of lives.

How we serve
Children's Ministry
Kids' clubs, vacation Bible school, puppet shows, crafts, Bible stories, sports, and games.
Evangelism
Crusades, street evangelism, and face-to-face encounters from door to door.
Church Planting
We prepare missionaries to open new churches and inspire leaders to grow existing ones.
Mercy Ministry
We visit those often overlooked — in orphanages, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, and remote places.
