Our Vision

At Answer in Jesus Ministries, we strive to be a light in the darkness, spreading hope through the Word of God worldwide. Our vision is a spiritual awakening among nations, which we aim to achieve through the following initiatives:

    Our hearts burn with the desire to preach the good news of Jesus Christ. We conduct evangelistic campaigns that span different cultures and continents, aiming to touch souls and change lives for the better.

  • Missionary Training

    We are involved in training and equipping missionaries to plant churches where there are none. Our programs equip pastors and leaders with the necessary tools for development and growth, strengthening existing church communities.

  • Charity

    In response to the challenges faced by humanity, we provide aid to those affected by natural disasters. Our charitable work is aimed at alleviating suffering and providing support in times of greatest need.

About the Mission President

In 1995, seeking freedom and new opportunities, Vasiliy and Olga Skorykh immigrated to the USA as refugees from the USSR. Without wasting time, they founded the Answer in Jesus mission, thereby laying the foundation for their future ministry. Soon, after a year and a half, armed with faith and a desire to bring the Gospel to people's hearts, Vasiliy and Olga returned to Russia with their young children as missionaries. In the Urals, they founded six churches, becoming beacons of faith and hope for many in the Ural region.

Today, Vasiliy and Olga, along with their six children and four grandchildren, live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Vasiliy continues his ministry as President of Answer in Jesus Ministries and pastor of the Answer in Jesus Church located in Minneapolis. Preaching and conducting crusades in 14 countries, Vasiliy has ministered to more than 200,000 people.

Our Contribution

Over the years, our ministry has expanded its influence, organizing events and projects in Russia, Mexico, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Pakistan, and the USA, impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.
  • 6 churches opened in Russia, 4 churches in Cuba, and 1 church in America.
  • 10 prayer houses were built and purchased in Russia, America, and Cuba.
  • Long-term financial support was provided to 125 missionaries.

Our Ministries

  • Children's Ministry
    We serve children through conducting kids' clubs, Bible school during vacations, puppet shows, crafts, Bible stories, sports competitions, parodies, and games.
  • Evangelism
    We actively engage in conducting crusades, organize street evangelizations, and carry out direct face-to-face encounters from door to door.
  • Church Planting
    We prepare missionaries to open new churches, and we train and inspire ministry leaders to develop existing local churches in different countries.
  • Mercy Ministry
    We act as the hands and feet of Christ, visiting and serving those often overlooked—in orphanages, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, and secluded places.
